M&J is seeking experienced personnel for Construction Inspectors in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The Construction Inspectors will inspect various aspects construction activities and ensure compliance with the contract provisions.

Responsibilities
- Inspection of daily construction work ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications
- Minimum testing of materials
- Review contractor submittals
- Requests for information and coordinate with the contractor
- Monitor maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT)
- Prepare daily inspection reports.
- Pperform field measurements of pay items and pProvide computations.
- Participate in meetings, preparing meeting minutes and follow up action items.
- And other responsibilities as warranted.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Civil, Structural, Traffic Engineering (or similar)
- 1-5 years related work experience
- Experience with Highway, Roadway, Stormwater, Site, Building, Waterway, or Shoreline Construction Improvement projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- ACI and NICET certifications required.
- OSHA certification is required.
