M&J is seeking a Document Control Specialist-Transportation Field to support our Rhode Island office with managing and maintaining project documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards, and facilitates efficient document handling and retrieval.
Responsibilities
- Ability to Utilize standardized computer software applications to maintain recordkeeping documentation for road and bridge construction projects and ensure all records-management activities adhere to RIDOT policies and FHWA regulations;
- Assist in the preparation of Reports of Change (ROC), contract addenda, bi-weekly progress payments, correspondence, updates and other project documentation;
- Maintain accountability of all construction documents through the utilization of a computerized construction record keeping system;
- Conducts regular review audits to ensure construction records are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Two years of experience working on complex construction projects, preferably Transportation related.
