M&J Engineering, P.C. is seeking a full time Resident Engineer with a NY PE License and 5-10 years’ experience with at least 5 years of Resident Engineering experience for MTA/TBTA project. Excellent communications and client relations skills are a must, with the ability to manage a large staff of field personnel and work as a team player.

Responsibilities
- Supervise inspection staff and Assistant Resident Engineer to complete assignments and delivery of daily inspector reports in accordance with client’s requirements
- Provides daily on-site construction management and site inspections.
- Provides technical review of construction plans, specifications, and project changes for constructability and practicality.
- Responsible for overall site safety, permit condition compliance, and coordination with other agencies.
- Monitors Contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness, and effectiveness.
- Maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality, etc.
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineer with MTA/TBTA experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a closely related field.
- NY Professional Engineer (PE) License required
