Responsibilities
M&J Engineering is seeking experienced personnel for Resident Engineers. This position is a field related position with respect to construction projects. Resident Engineer will inspect various aspects construction activities and perform to ensure compliance with the contract provisions. Responsibilities include inspection of daily construction work ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications, minimum testing of materials, review contractor submittals, requests for information and coordinate with the contractor, monitor maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT), prepare daily inspection reports, perform field measurements of pay items, provide computations for pay items, participate in meetings, preparing meeting minutes and follow up action items. And other responsibilities as warranted.

Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience with Long Island Highway, Roadway, Stormwater, Site, Building, Waterway, or Shoreline Construction Improvement projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- PE, ACI, AND NICET certifications are a plus.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Osha 10 Hours certification is required.
