What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Manager position at M&K Truck Centers?
Summary/Objective:
This position is responsible for success of the Leasing sales team. The manager will assist in selling our truck lines by implementing sales plans; supervising sales staff and providing the necessary support to meet forecast.
Essential Functions
Directs and coordinates all activities of the Leasing Sales Department in accomplishing objectives and defined sales goals.
Develops a sales and marketing program to achieve specific sales and net profit target based on current market conditions.
Evaluates Leasing Sales Department performance. Sets goals and standards and takes appropriate steps to achieve.
Evaluates performance of leasing sales personnel.
Develops and trains Lease Sales personnel to ensure objectives are met; assists in selling efforts where necessary.
Advises executive leadership.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position also requires some travel to all of our dealerships, approximately 25-50% travel to locations in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The employee will experience normal travel and weather hazards. Some overnight travel will be expected occasionally.
Position Type Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typically, days and hour of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm however, there may be times when additional hours may be required to fit customer needs.
Education and Experience
· HS Diploma
· Bachelors in BA preferred but not required
· Expert level knowledge of the Heavy & Medium Duty Diesel Industry as it pertains to leasing and rental.
· Extensive Sales and Management training.
· Outstanding people skills / customer service
· 3 Years of management experience, and an outstanding sales record.
