Essential Functions
Completing Road Tests
Diagnosing power complaints
Must have full knowledge and compliance with all applicable DOT rules and safety guidelines.
Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and reports any discrepancies indicating truck condition to the supervisor.
Perform related duties, or other duties as assigned by supervision.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Present a valid CDL Class A Driver’s License with no restrictions; additionally, your Motor Vehicle Report must be clean.
Must have a current DOT medical certification.
Must be able to perform certain physical tasks - hooking/unhooking trailers and towable vehicles, securing straps, up/down and in/out of vehicles, and other manual tasks related to transport
Must be able to pass a background check, drug tests and, as required by the DOT, a physical.
