Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repair, and installation services for diesel engines, generators or other related equipment. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on diesel engines and generators
- Repair or replace defective parts or components in diesel engines, generators, and other equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during all service and repair activities
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Requirements:
- Three plus years of experience as a Service Technician in the diesel engine and generator fields.
- Strong knowledge of power systems and generator diagnostics is a plus
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and generators
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must have valid DL and clear driving record (CDL is a plus)
- Must be able to pass a background check, physical and drug screen
