Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Helper to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks on construction sites, supporting skilled tradespeople such as electricians and carpenters. This role is essential for ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

• Assist industrial and commercial electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Support frame carpentry tasks by helping to build structures according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting using tools like an ohmmeter to ensure electrical systems function correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines as outlined by the company.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge in industrial or commercial electrical work is preferred.
• Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards is a plus.
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
• Proficiency in using power tools and equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience on construction sites is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
