What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contractor - Python Developer - GenAI Focused Team at Investment Management Firm -Dallas, Hybrid position at M-Logic, Inc.?
This is a long-term consulting opportunity for someone interested in working on GenAI initiatives for enterprise-wide solutions with a leading investment management firm at their Dallas office. Role is hybrid, 2-3 days a week in office.
Full Stack hands on developer (10 years) with strong expertise in Python and AI technologies to design, develop and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with AI libraries integrating with cloud platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement new features and ensure seamless integration of both front-end and back-end components.
You will be working on initiatives to build AI-enabled automations and tools for the firm to use. For example: building custom apps that use Open AI's api to build Assistants, automations, document qnA, Langchain features, Lllamindex features etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating Python-based projects, particularly AI-focused applications.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Python web frameworks
- Experience with AI / Agentic frameworks and libraries
- Familiarity with AI-related deployment in Azure cloud environments.
- Experience building RESTful APIs using Python.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases, with proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database interactions.
- Experience in DevOps pipelines, including build, release, and CI/CD processes
- Basic front-end development skills with a focus on integrating AI functionalities into web interfaces
- Knowledge of version control systems
