The Opportunity
Our path into Sales Management is built to identify and develop exceptional sales talent who not only excel in sales but embody our mission, vision, and values. Over the course of 3-6 months, you'll experience a phased transition from outstanding individual producer to respected team leader, preparing you for a full-time Solar Sales Manager role.
Phase 1: Leadership Criteria for Consideration
During the first three months, you'll be evaluated based on key leadership attributes to ensure you're ready for the challenge of management. The criteria include:

- Team Influence: Build trust and respect within the team by positively contributing to our dynamic.
- Commitment to Excellence: Master and rigorously follow M&M Energy Innovations proven sales process, setting a high standard for the team.
- Active Engagement: Participate in team activities, meetings, and communication to drive collective success.
- Top Producer: Maintain top 10% performance, consistently hitting benchmarks for three consecutive months.
- Personal Growth: Complete assigned reading to enhance leadership and personal development.
Phase 2: Solar Sales Manager in Training (SMIT) Transition
Upon meeting the leadership criteria, you’ll embark on a three-month SMIT transition, gaining practical leadership experience and preparing for full-time management responsibilities. This includes:
- Month 4: Shadow and Learn: Observe our sales leader to grasp daily leadership tasks while completing Modules 1-4 of our SMIT course on leadership fundamentals.
- Month 5: Co-Manage: Share management duties with the sales leader, overseeing team performance and completing Modules 5-8 on team dynamics and metrics.
- Month 6: Lead Independently: Take on full leadership with guidance, finishing Modules 9-12 on advanced strategies and leadership responsibilities.
