Field Manager

Sunset Ridge Exteriors, a division M&M Home Remodeling Services is a leading exterior home remodeling company committed to transforming homes and exceeding customer expectations. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Field Manager to join our team in our Madison, WI location and to help us continue our tradition of excellence.

Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Field Manager at M&M Home Remodeling Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our exterior home remodeling projects. You will communicate with customers and internal team members, oversee a team of Subcontractors and Project Managers, accurately measure sold projects to ensure materials are ordered efficiently, and deliveries to our warehouse are managed effectively. This role requires physical agility, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and a strong leadership presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Measurement and Inspection:

• Accurately measure jobs sold before material orders are placed.
• Conduct thorough inspections of project sites to assess work requirements and project scope.
• Navigate and inspect attics to evaluate and plan for necessary remodeling work.

Warehouse Management:

• Receive and organize deliveries to our Madison warehouse.
• Ensure proper storage of materials and equipment.
• Maintain inventory records and communicate material needs to the job processor.

Field Leadership:

• Manage a team of Subcontractors, providing guidance and support throughout projects.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among field staff.
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed at all times.

Repair Technician

• Ability to make repairs on exterior remodeling products (roofing, siding, gutters, soffit, fascia windows)
• Handle repair calls for the branch including coordinating with subcontractors for larger repairs, and owning smaller one person repairs

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds intermittently and 40 pounds regularly.
• Work in all types of weather conditions, including temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit for extended periods.
• Climb ladders and walk across sloped and flat roof surfaces up to two and a half stories high.

Qualifications:

• Proven technical experience in the exterior home remodeling industry or a related field.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in physically demanding and varying weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
