Job Overview:
M&M Landscape Management is seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure projects run smoothly. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and hands-on knowledge of landscaping, hardscaping, and irrigation work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crew management, job scheduling, quality control, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, including job scheduling, crew coordination, and material procurement.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet company standards.
- Supervise and train staff to maintain efficiency and quality workmanship.
- Operate and oversee the use of various landscaping and construction equipment, including:
- Skid steers
- Mini excavators
- Trenchers
- Sod cutters
- Compactors
- Aerators
- Zero-turn mowers
- Chainsaws
- Stump grinders
- Irrigation system tools
- Dump trailers and tow-behind equipment
- Maintain and track equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Communicate with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist with hiring, training, and performance evaluations of employees.
- Work closely with upper management to improve processes and business growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, or outdoor construction.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask.
- Experience in scheduling, logistics, and project management.
- Hands-on knowledge of landscaping, grading, drainage, and paver installations.
- Ability to operate and train employees on various heavy and small equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and job tracking tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks when necessary.
