Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales/Project Manager to oversee and drive sales efforts and manage construction projects within the multifamily sector. This individual will serve as a key liaison between our clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the multifamily construction industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property developers, architects, and investors.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with prospective clients.
- Manage and track sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of leads and closing opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management to define and execute sales strategies for regional growth.
Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of assigned construction projects, from pre-construction through completion.
- Coordinate and manage the schedule, budget, resources, and team members to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings to ensure safety standards and quality control are being met.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
Client Relations & Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Lead project meetings, both internally and with clients, to communicate project status and resolve any issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 2 years in sales or business development within the multifamily sector.
- Strong knowledge of multifamily construction processes, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in construction.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with large multifamily renovation projects.
- Local market knowledge and established relationships with regional property ownership groups, property management companies, architects, and subcontractors.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or LEED certification is a plus.
