Job Overview
We are seeking a Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team, with an option for part-time or full-time for the right person. Our current store hours are Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm and 9am-3pm on Saturday, so we could work out a perfect flexible schedule! The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and food, with a knack for promoting products.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and handle transactions with customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area, along with maintaining a clean retail area
- Promote products through effective product demonstrations and sampling when necessary
- Upsell products to increase store revenue
- Assist in stocking and maintaining inventory levels
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience in retail sales, especially in grocery stores
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to drive sales growth
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.50 - $13.00 per hour
