What are the responsibilities and job description for the directional drill locator/ operator position at M&M Underground LLC?
REQUIREMENTS:
· Valid Driver License (CDL or ability to obtain a CDL is desirable)
· Familiar with Direction Drills
· 1-2 Years Directional Drilling Experience
· Construction Experience or Underground Utility Experience
· Must be very safety conscious.
· Ability to follow instructions.
· Knowledge of utility depths and placement
· Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather (i.e. snow, rain, wind, etc.) if required
· Operate horizontal directional drill in accordance with blueprints and designated plans
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Safely operate drill equipment on jobsite which may include, but not limited to, the following: Horizontal Directional Drill, Backhoe, Excavator, Truck (Hauling Equipment)
· Safely operate the horizontal direction drill includes operation of the drill and use of locating systems with minimal disruption to existing infrastructure, knowledge of calibrations, and the ability to transport and set-up as needed.
· Locate all utilities within the bore path and expose prior to drilling.
· May be required to work overtime; after hours; weekends; and emergencies as needed.
