What are the responsibilities and job description for the Backhoe/crane operator scrap yard position at M & M Waste?

Responsibilities:
  • Operate crane and heavy machinery in a safe manner
  • Must be able to operate John Deere Excavators, Sennebogen material handlers with magnet, and Grapple
  • Load and unload customers safely
  • Load trailers and conrainers
  • strip cars and motors
  • Sort, package, and process scrap metal

Qualifications:
  • 5 years experience working as a crane operator (experience in the waste/scrap industry and/or construction)
  • Communicate effectively with others
  • Safety first and awareness of surroundings
  • No criminal background
