Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at M. O'Connor Contracting, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Scheduling: Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Assistant Project Managers and Site Supervisors to achieve project objectives, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Contract Administration: Negotiate contracts, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with vendors to meet project requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement measures to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits, review progress reports, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial data to optimize project performance.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, with 5-10 years of experience in project management for a General Contracting firm.
- Software Proficiency: Proven expertise in Procore software, with experience using Microsoft Project and Office Suite.
- Licenses and Certifications: OSHA-30 certification required.
- Skills and Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing project requirements.
