Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled Commercial Service Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial settings. The Commercial Service Electrician will work independently and as part of a team to ensure all electrical work meets NEC Codes and safety standards while providing exceptional service to our clients.

As a Commercial Service Electrician, your key responsibilities will include :

Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings.
Install conduit systems, feeder wire, and electrical panels.
Perform safety checks on electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulation and NEC Codes.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
Repair or replace broken and faulty electrical equipment.
Read and comprehend electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Train and mentor electrical apprentices to promote skill development and safety practices.
Ensure all installations and repairs meet the NEC and company standards.
Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and project managers to ensure job completion and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate job records, including work performed, materials used, and time spent.
Acquiring all necessary materials to complete the approved service or job at hand.
Performing all tasks including, but not limited to, those listed above.

What We’re Looking For :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Journeyman Electrician License

Minimum of 3 years of commercial electrical experience

Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record

Successfully pass a background check and drug test

Strong proficiency in English both written and verbal to ensure successful internal and external communications

Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics

Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety standards

Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work with hand tools and operate power tools

Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, squat, and climb ladders

Strong problem-solving skills

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30; preferred, but not required.

CPR-First Aid Certified; preferred, but not required.

Service Fusion experience is a PLUS, but not required
