Position Overview: As a Residential and Commercial Service Electrician, you will work directly with customers to provide high-quality efficient electrical solutions that ensure safety and code-compliance. This is a vital role where you will troubleshoot and resolve both simple and complex electrical issues while educating customers on the best course of action. Additionally, you will guide and mentor an apprentice, helping them grow in the field. Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and providing efficient solutions, offering detailed explanations of options and recommendations to customers.
- Identifying and resolving hazards or code violations in electrical systems.
- Offering flat-rate pricing options to customers and ensuring transparency.
- Repairing electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Measuring, cutting, and bending conduit to fit various installations.
- Acquiring the necessary materials to complete the job.
- Maintaining a clean work area and ensuring the area is left tidy after each project.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and promptly, including work orders and estimates.
- Building strong customer relationships through professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Identifying additional service opportunities related to customer service needs.
- Maintaining strong communication with office, customers, and team members.
- Adhering to all company policies and safety protocols.
- Mentoring and training apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Performing other duties as assigned to help maintain the smooth operation of business.
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Journeyman License with 3 years of experience (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required)
- Strong Knowledge of NEC Codes specific to the region (Required)
- Ability to pass a background check (Required)
- Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication (Required)
- Ability to safety operate hand tools and power tools (Required)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, squat and climb ladders (Required)
- OSHA10, OSHA30, CPR-First Aid Certification (Must be willing to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and an ability to think outside the box
- Ability to travel daily within the service area
- Service Fusion experience (Preferred but not required)
- Competitive income potential with a salary range of $50,000 to $100,000 per year. Salary is based on experience
