Responsibilities
- Exceptional Engagement
- Completes patrol of grounds at least thrice per shift
- Physically fit to patrol and investigate unusual activity
- Able to lift up to 55lbs
- Monitor all employees for dangerous safety violations or illegal behavior (1st & 2nd Shifts, Front Office, Transportation, Etc.)
- Ability to use good judgement and execute decisive calls
- Check employee bags if necessary
Strong Technology Skills:
- Document/Report any security technology issues (gates, secured doors, etc.)
- Monitor all cameras across two sites and report any problems discovered
- Capable team player with strong communication skills
Safety Minded:
- Able to learn or already trained in proper First Aid/AED use
- Spot and report any safety violations to Safety Coordinator
- Run sweeper two-hours minimum every night able to write comprehensive and legible reports.
- Essential to preserving order and giving direction in the event of an emergency (fire alarm, weather incident, medical event, etc.).
Requirements
Education, Experience and Skills Required
- Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred. Certifications preferred but not required.
- Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and appropriate enforcement procedures.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting and carrying 55 lbs., occasional sitting
- skills include problem solving, fast-pace, an eye for details, and above all care for the team.
