Position Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the second shift including performing setups and providing technical assistance to operators.
Daily tasks:
Meet daily with the first shift management team and receive instructions for second shift operations. Assure assigned machines are running, performing setup’s when necessary and assisting operators as needed.
Run two CNC lathes to produce aerospace fasteners meeting quality and production targets. Check bolts using precision measuring tools and gages. Record daily production into SPC and shop floor control systems
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Do first Article Inspection
- Lifting to 40 lbs. and moving 40 lbs. pans with dollies.
- Standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching, and grasping to operate CNC lathes.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or slippery conditions; high, precarious places; fumes and chemical; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee is required to work with cutting fluids (such as oils and coolants).
Requires full work time only. 8 hours a shift- Monday to Friday- overtime expected depending on production needs. Regular attendance is an essential job function.
