M&S Development, LLC is a fast-growing construction company located in Mansfield, MA. We are primarily focused on large residential remodels, additions, and new construction throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Primary Position
We have an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced Master or Journeyman Electrician for our growing construction company. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings. Our ideal candidate must maintain a deep understanding of safety and building code regulations.
Electrician Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to read blueprints, schematic and technical drawings
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and panels in new construction remodels & additions
- Walk through the job site with the project manager and the customer to review the project and placement of interior and exterior lighting, switches, outlets, appliances, cable, fans, medicine cabinets, doorbells, cameras, thermostats, wall-mounted electronics, etc.
- Video or photograph the rough electrical installation prior to boarding
- Provide supply & material orders to the office
- Broom sweep the job at the end of every workday
- Meet with the project manager and / or customer whenever necessary
- Contact the project manager or office if they have any questions, requests for upgrades or changes by the customer, and / or to report any issues.
- Provide professional and courteous communication with customers, inspectors and team members
- Schedule and attend inspections
- Adhere to all safety standards, procedures and code requirements
