Tracking and Scheduling Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our freight brokerage team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth scheduling and tracking of freight shipments. You will work closely with carriers, shippers, and internal teams to maintain efficient operations and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate freight appointments with carriers and customers.
• Monitor and track shipments in real-time to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to provide updates and resolve any issues during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of shipment status, delivery times, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with brokers and account managers to optimize routing and load planning.
• Address delays or disruptions proactively by finding solutions to keep shipments on track.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to manage and monitor freight activities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation coordination is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive tasks.
• Proficient in using logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry practices is a plus.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
