Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and growth in various domains including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to promote good conduct.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's development, achievements, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
- Provide first aid as necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all students.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
- Experience working with children who may require special education services is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that educate while entertaining young children.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with a passion for teaching young children.
