Job Description: M Science is strengthening its business development team through hiring an experienced Account Associate. As Account Associate you will be responsible for a book of clients, assuring retention of the current business, developing adoption and engagement of your clients to M Science products. You will be the main point of contact for M Science clients to maximize their customer experience. You will also proactively address client needs and facilitate upselling by being engaged in the sales process from beginning to the end.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced sales professionals with client relationship development
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of M Science product offerings and solutions
- Provide suggestions for new products and enhancements of the current ones
- Seek opportunities to convey knowledge of data driven research and analytic opportunities to buy-side clients
- Land and expand – seek cross selling opportunities with current clients
- Develop personal network within your accounts through frequent touch points, calls and meetings
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 1 years of financial services sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of the stock market and passion for data driven investing
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and resourceful
- Proven ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Primary Location: New York, NY
Salary Range: $70,000-110,000 USD/Annual
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications. In addition to salary, M Science offers, for eligible employees, an annual discretionary incentive bonus, competitive employee benefits, including: medical, dental & vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, disability insurance; and wellness programs. M Science also offers paid time off packages that include planned time off (vacation), unplanned time off (sick leave), paid holidays and paid parental leave.
