The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in administrative tasks, and contributing to the financial management of our properties.

Position Overview: We are actively seeking an experienced Property Assistant Manager with bookkeeping or light accounting experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in administrative tasks, and contributing to the financial management of our properties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and organizing files.
- Handle mail, including sorting, opening, and distributing incoming mail.
- Assist in reviewing monthly management reports from third party manager
- Depending on skill set, post accounting entries. (minimal monthly)
- Manage certified mail and maintain records of return receipts.
- Serve as the point of contact for coordinating cleaning services.
- Perform scanning and copying tasks as required.
- Manage autopay for bills.
- Prepare and file annual reports for all business entities.
- Ensure timely renewal of licenses required for properties.
- Reconcile company credit card statements.
- Provide notary services as required. (preferred)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant with knowledge of bookkeeping or general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (RentManager experience not required but a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
