What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brake press setup operator position at M T and Associates?
Description
1st Shift
Operates manual Press Brake and/or other machines in accordance with company guidelines.
Plans, selects, lays out, positions, and aligns dies in machine ram and bed of Press Brake.
Competencies and Attributes Needed:
- Knowledge of Fabrication Process
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints
- Ability to work with manual tools including micrometers
Requirements
Experience and skills to operate manual Press Brakes, Rolls, and other equipment used in the Fabrication process.
Experience in a manufacturing/fabricating shop
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires physical capability which includes standing most of the time, some lifting up to 25 to 50 pounds, and pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching as needed.
- Standard shift is ten hours per day, with Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.
- Plant facility does not have air conditioning.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
