What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at M T and Associates?
Job Summary:
Accepts phone calls from customers and responds to their needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process purchase orders via telephone, mail and fax.
Provides quotes to customers.
Data entry of customer purchase orders.
Follows up with customer regarding orders, complaints, etc.
Investigates and disposes of all UPS claims for lost and/or damaged packages.
Works with sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
Receives and participates in the resolution of customer complaints.
Coordinates returning of goods.
Coordinates timely shipment of orders by interacting with the Warehouse Supervisor.
Works with the Accounts Receivable Expeditor to resolve customer credit issues.
Files completed Package Stock Replenishment (PSR) orders.
Handles incoming COLLECT and outgoing PREPAID fastener LTL/ truck shipment.
Purchases fastener products for resale.
Coordinates returning of goods and corrective action.
Periodic Responsibilities:
Undertakes special assignments as required to assure satisfactory order handling.
Fill in for Receptionist when needed
Fill in for other office positions when needed
Filing, when needed.
Assist / Fill in for Hex Socket Sales Data Processing Supervisor when needed
Additional Duties:
Address all issues with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
Act in the company’s best interest at all times.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
