Superintendent

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the main point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, and will be responsible for ensuring that all parties are working together effectively to achieve the project goals. Your ultimate goal will be to deliver a successful project that meets or exceeds the expectations of all stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree encouraged in Construction Management or related field
• 5 years of experience in residential construction
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
• Experience with subcontracting, pre-construction, and constructability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with concrete, masonry and carpentry 
• Certification in safety management
• Experience with Buildertrend preferred

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
• Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
• Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project activities, including progress reports, budgets, and schedules

Skills:

As a Superintendent, you will need to have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, so you must be able to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best work. You will also need to have strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Your knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices will be critical to ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently. Finally, your experience with subcontracting, pre-construction, and constructability will be essential to the success of the project.
