Job Summary
We are seeking a superstar Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychological assessment and treatment, particularly with adults (18 ). This role involves providing high-quality mental health care. The Clinical Psychologist will also engage in telehealth services, ensuring comprehensive support for patients dealing with various psychological conditions, including Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD.
Our Private Practice was launched in 2024 and we are looking for a driven Clinical Psychologist to grow along side us. The role will be a hybrid of both in-person and telehealth, with plenty of flexibility to adapt to your schedule. The position will start as a full-time 1099/independent contractor. After a year of employment, we can consider the switch to w-2 if you prefer!
Duties
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing to assess patients' mental health needs.
- Provide individual sessions, focusing on evidence-based practices.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments and ongoing evaluations.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Supervise interns or junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in clinical practices.
- Engage in research activities to contribute to the field of psychology and improve treatment methodologies.
- Offer telehealth services to increase accessibility for patients unable to attend in-person sessions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, especially for inpatient cases.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Post-Doctoral Students will also be considered.
- Valid state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist (or studying for licensure).
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and psychological testing.
- Familiarity with Depression, Anxiety or PTSD care techniques and therapeutic approaches.
- Proficient in maintaining medical records and adhering to confidentiality protocols.
- Ability to conduct telehealth sessions effectively using appropriate technology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
