What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Engineer position at M-Team Solutions?
We are currently searching for a Maintenance & Service Engineer with experience in the material handling industry. This is a direct hire opportunity for our customer in the Evansville, IN area.
You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain products and equipment by performing electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs; identifying, analyzing, and repairing product failures, and ordering & replacing parts as needed. You should be familiar with various material handling systems which include conveyors, transfers, part carriers, and other automation-type equipment.
Other Responsibilities
- Observe the equipment in operation; listen for problems; execute various test cycle operations, and use precision measuring and testing instruments
- Complete preventive maintenance requirements on equipment, following site-specific procedures & operations / maintenance manuals
- Interpret engineering drawings and assist site installation crews as necessary throughout the installation phase of a project through customer final acceptance
- Perform Engineering studies to develop reliable and optimum solutions based on customer requirements
- Must be available to work weekends, nights, overtime, and holidays, as needed
- Must be flexible as the position may require traveling to any of our job sites within the US, Canada, or Mexico
- Must be able to negotiate through an industrial conveyor system requiring climbing access ladders, scaffolding, screen guards, etc
- Physically capable of standing and / or walking for long periods of time.
- The ability to lift 25-50 lbs
