Correspond with customer representatives to discuss and coordinate all aspects of program.
Essential Duties
- Organize and manage customer program components through all processes, including:
- Navigate customers web-based portal to locate and download new RFQ’s, PO’s & Technical Data.
- Creating and updating sales orders in ERP.
- Determine a method of manufacture for all program components
- Release work orders for production and procurement.
- Develop and monitor progress of components against timeline.
- Meet with company production, purchasing and quality managers to determine component status and to relay timeline date requirements.
- Work with customer representatives on engineering changes, status reports for open quotes and orders, and delivery schedules & re-schedules.
- Must have strong blueprint reading skills.
Experience
- 3 years progressive experience in Program or Project Management with experience in the metal fabricating and/or defense industry.
- Positive track record in customer satisfaction.
- Strong computer skills, ideally with experience using MS Office programs and ERP report writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
- Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements.
- Must have strong blueprint reading skills.
