What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robotics Engineer position at M-Team Solutions?
We are currently searching for a Robotic Engineer / Programmer in Romeo, Michigan area. This is a contract to direct hire opportunity.
Programming:
- Develop, test, and implement programming for collaborative robots to perform various tasks in accordance with project requirements. Program cobots to work safely alongside human operators, ensuring proper collaboration and efficiency.
Setup and Configuration:
- Set up and configure cobotic systems, including end-of-arm tools and sensors.
- Conduct system calibration and testing to optimize performance.
Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve programming and operational issues with robotic equipment.
- Conduct regular maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of robotic systems
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in engineering and programming robotic systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in robotic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Three (3) years' experience in engineering, design, and programming FANUC robots required. FANUC robot programming uses two languages: teach pendant (TP) and Karel.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or another CAD design package.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering preferred.
