What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Mechatronics Engineer position at M-Team Solutions?
We are currently searching for a Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Service Engineer in Fort Branch, IN area. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain material handling equipment performing electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs; identifying, analyzing, and repairing product failures; and ordering & replacing parts as needed.
- Must be able to negotiate through an industrial conveyor system requiring climbing access ladders, scaffolding, screen guards, etc.
- Physically capable of standing and/or walking for long periods of time.
- The ability to lift at 25-50 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends, nights, overtime, and holidays, as needed
- Must be flexible as the position may require traveling to any of our job sites within the US, Canada, or Mexico
- PLC programming skills in a hands-on field construction environment desirable
- Requires debugging skills during commissioning of new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment
- Excellent communication skills with ability to speak with clarity and interface effectively with customers and peers
- Ability to react to changes proactively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Display broad-based customer focus and commitment to resolve problems and make decisions based upon the priority of the problem in relation to business needs
- Machinery installation experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and general computer skills
- AutoCAD, Inventor, or other 3D modeling software
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, automation engineering preferred
- One to three years’ experience in the material handling engineering, construction or manufacturing industry preferred
