Servers Wanted

Overview:

The purpose of May Bakery & Cafe is to provide class service to all guests. The server will be accountable for the success of the front of house and table operations. Work to continually improve guest satisfaction and ensure a seamless guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Taking food and beverages orders and ensuring that they are delivered to the table in a timely fashion.
• Explaining the menus to guests and accommodating their requests.
• Paying close attention to your tables to ensure that they are always taken care of.
• Delivering the bill and processing payment.
• Treating all guests with courtesy and respect.
• Assisting with closing and opening duties.
• Maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Require being on your feet for long periods of time.
• Supporting teammates to ensure smooth operations.

Experience (all preferred but not required):

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain a strong work ethic.
• Ability to problem solve and prioritize

Wage and Scheduling:

• $2-5/hour tips (rounds up to $15 per hour)
• Part time or Full time
• Afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $2.00 - $5.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
