M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic II (Aircrew Flight Mechanic) The Aircraft Flight Mechanic II(MH60-R) is a highly skilled professional responsible for performing all duties of a Functional CheckAircrewman on MH60-R helicopters. This role involves performing in-flight duties, assistingmaintenance test pilots, troubleshooting, making adjustments, and ensuring aircraft functionality both inthe air and on the ground. The position is integral to the operation and maintenance of the MH60-R fleet,ensuring safe and effective flight operations in compliance with Navy standards. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

• Serve as a flight crew member for MH60-R helicopter operations, performing duties during dayand night shifts.
• Conduct in-flight observation, troubleshooting, and repairs, ensuring the aircraft is functioningproperly during flight.
• Perform aircraft functional checks, including run-ups and magnetic compass swings whennecessary.
• Operate specialized tracking and balancing equipment, hoists, cranes, and other tools requiredfor functional assignments. Perform regular aircraft mechanic duties when not engaged in flightmechanic responsibilities.
• Conduct maintenance checks and perform maintenance operational checks (MOCs) and run-upsas needed.
• Complete accurate maintenance documentation using the Integrated Maintenance Data System(IMDS) and other required forms.
• Assist with removing and reinstalling cowlings, panels, and fairings as required for maintenancetasks.
• Provide on-the-job training (OJT) for new personnel as assigned.
• Operate motor vehicles, equipment, and special tools as required by the assignment.
• Maintain cleanliness and preservation of tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Support flight line operations, including assisting with aircraft launch, recovery, and security.
• Handle hazardous materials according to safety guidelines.
• Perform imaging technology functions and document-related tasks as necessary.
• Dispose of hazardous materials properly, as required by job duties.
• Adhere to M1's safety culture, completing required training and participating in emergencyresponse efforts.
• Ensure compliance with M1's Quality Policy and the operational, safety, quality, andenvironmental standards for the role. Qualifications and Experience :
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant maintenance position.
• Must be qualified in Mission / Design / Series (MDS) for the MH60-R or have at least 4 years ofexperience with the MH60-R model.
• Completed Naval Aircrew school and MH60-R Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) training.
• Must meet all required training standards as specified by US Navy instructions (OPNAV / CNAF3710).
• Must hold a valid US government Common Access Card (CAC) or temporary DBIDScredential.
• Must possess and maintain a favorably adjudicated Tier 3 Background Investigation (SecretClearance required).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials / authorization.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a physical examination and meet FAA medical standards for flight duties(Class 1 and Class 2).
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including all shifts, as flight schedules dictate.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in IMDS and complete required maintenance documentationwithin 90 days of assignment.
• Must complete 90 days of probation in the position. Working Conditions :
• Must be able to obtain and maintain FAA Medical Certification (Class 1 and Class 2 asrequired).
• Must maintain class II swim qualification and complete Aviation Physiology and WaterSurvival Qualification.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds and performing physical tasks as required.
