Travel Possible M1 is looking for a Senior Electrical / Environmental Specialist :

Assists the lead person in directing the maintenance activities of assigned personnel.
Performs and directs the troubleshooting, repair and alignment of electrical, environmental, and battery systems.
Coordinates activities with the responsible lead person.
Performs both on and off-equipment maintenance.
Maintains, inspects, and troubleshoots systems to isolate malfunctions and makes necessary repairs on electrical,environmental, and battery systems.
Operates ground support equipment.
Uses technical data in isolating faults and repairing assigned equipment.
Conducts on-the-job and proficiency training.
Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness / prevention, and safety at all times.
Performs shop equipment inspections and maintains records.
Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft records and required forms and is proficient in CAMS documentation.
Assumes the responsibilities of the leadman in his absence.
In coordination with the section supervisor and the training specialist, provides on-the-job training of employees andevaluation of employee qualifications.
May be required to be qualified on different MDS aircraft.
May be selected to perform special certifications including Red X inspections.
Shall assist other personnel and work centers as directed.
Must promote Company values, policies, and standards of conduct.
Must be customer oriented and ensure professional coordination with Operations and other base agencies.
Shall perform other duties assigned to include TDY and travel.
When assigned to a Sortie Generation Flight (SGF), required to be qualified in APG activities.
Must be able to work day shift, night shift, or weekend duty as required.
Receives cross-utilization training and is qualified to perform those maintenance tasks.

Additional Requirements :

An excellent working knowledge of aircraft electrical / environmental systems and component maintenance is required.

A working knowledge of maintenance publications and regulations is required.

High school diploma or the equivalent is required.

Specialized related courses are required.

The ability to read and interpret technical data is required.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

A minimum of four years recent aircraft electrical / environmental repair experience is required.

When assigned to SGF, recent experience for assigned aircraft is required.

Good communication skills and leadership ability are required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line driver's license and may be required to obtain and maintain a class CDL.
