Park Nursing Home is looking for a dynamic, and innovative ADON to assist with overseeing the day to day operations of the facility. The ADON will bring leadership and managerial skills to assist nursing staff with problems, foster autonomy and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications for Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

• Active RN license
• CPR Certification
• A minimum of 1 year in Long term care with a background in a manager/supervisory role. (Preferably someone with previous experience in a ADON position)
  
  
  

Responsibilities of ADON include but are not limited to:

• Maintain standards of the nursing homes.
• Helping to hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses.
• Ensure smooth operation of the nursing department.
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management.
• Inform management of any staff concerns.
• Assisting in training and supervising nursing staff
