The Opportunity

At M3, our Elevate Client Executives are the driving force behind our small market strategy, offering expert advice and advocacy that empowers clients to navigate risks and propel their businesses forward.

In this exhilarating role, you'll wear multiple hats as a strategist, consultant, and relationship builder. You'll be at the forefront of prospecting, cultivating, and closing new commercial insurance accounts while simultaneously nurturing and advising our existing client base. Your expertise will be the cornerstone of our clients' risk management strategies, helping them make informed decisions that fuel their growth and success.

As an Elevate Client Executive, you'll have the unique opportunity to partner with seasoned professionals across M3's markets, leveraging their insights to identify and align with the most suitable small market accounts. This collaborative approach will allow you to maximize your impact and build a diverse, thriving portfolio of clients.

 

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Become a trusted advisor to small businesses, guiding them through the complexities of risk management and insurance solutions.
  • Cultivate a robust network of insurance prospects by leveraging referrals from other Client Executives and establishing influential Centers of Influence.
  • Design tailored insurance plans that address the unique challenges faced by small businesses, showcasing your expertise and creativity.
  • Lead compelling sales presentations that clearly articulate the value of M3's insurance products and services to both prospective and existing clients.
  • Foster enduring relationships with clients through regular communication, proactive advice, and a deep understanding of their evolving needs.
  • Harness the power of satisfied clients to generate referrals, amplifying our reach and influence in the small business market.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with M3's resources to ensure comprehensive coverage and service for your clients, positioning yourself as their go-to insurance expert.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize your book of business, identifying opportunities for growth and enhanced profitability.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging risks, providing cutting-edge insights to your clients and colleagues.
  • Champion cross-selling initiatives, maximizing the value we provide to each client while expanding M3's footprint in the small business sector.

What You Will Need to Succeed

    • A passion for small business and a drive to help entrepreneurs succeed through effective risk management.
    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; OR
    • A minimum of four years of comprehensive experience within the insurance industry, specializing in small business solutions; OR
    • A minimum of four years of equivalent combined education and practical experience, preferably with a background in sales to small businesses.
    • Wisconsin Insurance license (required) and additional insurance designations (highly desired).
    • Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business in the small market segment.
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for small business owners.
    • Strong analytical acumen to assess diverse business scenarios and formulate strategic insurance solutions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with precision and enthusiasm.
    • A growth mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
