Patient Care Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
- Scheduling New Patients
- Collecting Patient Payments at time of visit
- Answering phones and routing when needed
- Scheduling patient follow ups appointments
- Making reminder calls and sending texts
- Calling Doctors’ offices to collect patient documents
- Getting Patient Authorizations
- Ensuring Patient related paperwork is complete
- Communicating any issues that arise
- Occasionally help with modality set ups (hot / cold packs / electric stem)
- Entering data in the EMR*, Google Drive, Excel, Word and other programs
- Communicating with billing liaison on patient insurances / PT benefits
- Communicating with the Aides and Therapists on any patient related topics
- Other miscellaneous tasks related to help our patients and the team
*EMR - Electronic Medical Records system
