Capitalizing on the success of East Coast Olive Oil Corporation, Steve founded Mandia International Trading Corp in 2010 which now serves major retail, food service, and industrial markets worldwide.
As a part of their continued expansion, Mandia International Trading is seeking a Controller to oversee the financial operations of the organization. This role will be responsible for managing accounts payable, payroll, general ledger entriesdw, and ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Additional responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with tax filings, overseeing billing processes, and working closely with senior management and external accountants to meet financial obligations and deadlines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strategic approach, along with the ability to manage day-to-day tasks independently and with precision. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss (P&L) statements, and cash flow reports.
· Lead the budgeting process, provide forecasts, and help the organization set financial goals and expectations.
· Oversee cash management and ensure the company has enough liquidity to meet operational needs.
· Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
· Ensure the company adheres to all financial regulations, including tax filings, accounting standards, and internal company policies.
· Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain accurate financial records and ensure payments are made and received on time.
· Manage payroll processes, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time, and handling tax withholdings.
· Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring that financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulations.
· Analyz financial performance to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
· Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations for business strategies and long-term growth.
· Lead and manage the team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, preferred
- A proactive individual, ideally an emerging or recent accounting professional
- Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) is required

BASE SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $120,000
