CNC Machine Operator

M4 Machine is seeking a full-time CNC Operator and Manufacturing Assistant to contribute to job shop production in Livingston, NJ. We are seeking someone with a high level of attention to detail, who will jump into different roles as needed. We offer competitive pay and benefits, based off of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Operation and machine tending of CNC machinery (Haas and DMG Mori mills and Doosan lathes) including part inspection, and quality control
• Assist with cleaning and packaging parts for shipment
• Perform cleaning tasks in order to keep a safe and clean shop environment
• Work with our team to minimize downtime on equipment by effectively reducing inefficiencies in process and production

Requirements:

• 1 years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a high level of attention to detail
• Experience working with tools in a shop, manufacturing, or maintenance environment
• All-star multi-tasker, with an ability to prioritize and take specific direction
• Ready to work in an ever-changing, adapting job shop atmosphere where every job is different
• Willingness to collaborate, with a highly motivated “no task is too small” attitude
• Commitment to organization, quality, safety, and communication
• Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs, and continuously stand, walk, bend, and twist
• Responsible, reliable, and punctual
• High school diploma or equivalent and US work authorization

Nice to Have:

• Experience with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gages, etc) while interpreting engineered drawings, models, and blueprints to inspect parts
• CNC Machine Shop experience
• Knowledge of G-code and programming fundamentals
• Solid skills with UPS, google suite, and excel
