We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, with experience in construction environments. As a Driller, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment on various job sites, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on drilling machinery to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling projects according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Assist in the operation of other heavy equipment as needed, including backhoes, bulldozers, graders, and tankers.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to drilling and heavy equipment operation.
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety protocols.
- Proficiency in commercial driving, with the ability to operate various types of vehicles including tankers and heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with grader operation, Caterpillar machinery, bulldozers, and backhoe operation is preferred.
- Ability to dig effectively using various tools and machinery while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in executing tasks.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
