Responsibilities :
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Install and repair low voltage systems, such as fire alarms and security systems
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete electrical installations in new construction projects
Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Experience :
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in a commercial or industrial setting
Proficient in working with both low voltage and high voltage systems
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to apply it in daily work
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
Skills :
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment specific to the trade
Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with clients
