We are a fast-paced growing company, urgently seeking to add an honest, hard working, skilled Porter Technician to our team full-time! This next team member will have excellent time management skills as well as reliability and desire to make an impact in the everyday lives of our tenants.
The Job Description
Porter Technicians are responsible for ensuring that all areas of the building are clean and orderly, that equipment is properly maintained and working, and maintain cleanliness of the exterior and other common areas to the commercial retail property client, other duties include but not limited too;
- Provide as needed cleaning throughout large customer facing grocery store - addressing spills, and reactionary cleaning.
- Provide cleaning and sanitizing of all restrooms.
- Restock restrooms as needed.
- Provide exterior cleaning of basic permitter and changing exterior garbage cans.
- Removing and breaking down empty boxes from deliveries and working with trash compactor.
- Provide cleaning to Sales floor areas as able and assist cleaning staff the daily tasks as needed and able.
- Ensuring any debris is picked up and removed around the exterior of the building.
- Ensure all building areas are clean and orderly.
- Trash removal & pickup
- Keep equipment properly maintained and working (leaf blower, etc.)
- General grounds maintenance & upkeep
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management.
- Other duties as assigned
What we Need from you...
- A Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation to job sites is required.
- Prior exterior porter/cleaning/commercial experience preferred.
- Cleaning/janitorial experience considered a plus.
- Must have a smartphone capable of downloading time tracking app.
- Must have the ability to work independently.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish is a plus.
