What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at MA Building Services?
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication & Responsiveness:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all building services needs for assigned clients.
- Ensure prompt and professional communication with clients via text, email, phone, and other channels.
- Project & Work Order Solutions:
- Provide solutions, suggestions, and pricing for projects and work orders.
- Conduct property visits and in-person client meetings when necessary to assess project requirements effectively.
- Job Scope Creation:
- Develop detailed job descriptions that clearly explain the work to be executed for both clients and internal staff.
- Work Order Management:
- Utilize company work order management software to create accurate work orders, including:
- Scheduling requirements
- Materials needed
- Estimated labor hours
- Site locations and access details
- Ensure work orders capture all necessary information for successful scheduling and execution by internal operations and front-line staff.
- Client Follow-Up & Customer Service:
- Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with clients regarding:
- Estimate status
- Project progress
- Completion reports
- Quality concerns and resolutions
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills and professionalism at all times.
- Active Project Oversight:
- Oversee ongoing projects on assigned properties.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal operations and support front-line staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of building trades is preferred (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Masonry, Painting, Concrete, Flooring). Not all are required.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to build positive client relationships.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, reactionary environment based on client needs.
- Solutions-oriented and results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is required. Experience with OneNote and SharePoint is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
