Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and restoration, with expertise in using both power and hand tools. This role involves working on various vehicles, performing repairs, and ensuring high-quality finishes. The Auto Body Technician will play a crucial role in restoring vehicles to their original condition while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various repair tasks.
• Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a smooth finish.
• Assist in the assembly of vehicle components post-repair.
• Carry out auto restoration projects, ensuring attention to detail throughout the process.
• Work with sheet metal to fabricate and repair vehicle parts as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs needed on vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is a plus.
• Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment related to auto body work.
• Experience in auto painting techniques and processes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of auto restoration methods and materials is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Year round work

Supplemental Pay:

• Commission pay
