Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and traditional brush methods.
- Utilize power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Perform auto body repair and maintenance as needed, ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition before painting.
- Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a smooth finish.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks as required, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills
- Proficient in auto painting techniques with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with airless paint spraying and other painting equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with buffing techniques to enhance finishes.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of auto glass installation and repair is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
