Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Collision Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in auto estimating, with a focus on providing accurate assessments for repair costs. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the quality of our services. The Collision Estimator will work closely with technicians, customers, and insurance companies to facilitate smooth operations within the body shop.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy
  • Must possess a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License
  • 2 years of collision estimating experience; sales experience preferred
  • Ability to use CCC1 or similar estimating software
  • Advanced understanding of repair process/procedures
  • Strong sales orientation

Responsibilities
Maaco Autobody and Painting has an immediate job opening for a Collision Estimator to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Writing estimates
  • Conducting process reviews
  • Checking in customer vehicles
  • Completing final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery (DRP, final invoice)
  • Finalizing total loss administration
  • Providing post-repair plan communication, including all vehicle status updates to customers
  • Complying with all Maaco safety rules, guidelines, and company standards

Requirements

  • 2 years of collision estimating experience; sales experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy
  • Must possess a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License

ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to do consistent physical activity, including:
  • Reaching below and above shoulder level
  • Kneeling, bending, and squatting
  • Lifting objects over 50 lbs
  • Must have prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures
  • Strong sales orientation
  • Ability to understand instructions - written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy
  • Must possess a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License

Pay: $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
