Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Paint Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for painting, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to achieve a high-quality finish. This position requires a blend of technical skills and an eye for detail to maintain the standards of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply caulking and plaster to fill gaps and imperfections in surfaces.
- Tape, clean and buff vehicles in preparation for painting
- Will be trained as back up for painter
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Skills
- Proficiency in tasks in a bodyshop
- Strong understanding of color theory to assist in paint selection and application.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Experience with caulking and plastering techniques.
- Teamwork, punctual, and reliable
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
